Faculty Support for Shift to Remote Learning

In response to the Covid-19 crisis and the requirement that all instruction  for Spring 2020 be shifted to a remote/distance format, we have created a new page on this site to be an ongoing repository for math-specific (mostly) resources supporting faculty in this challenging (and for many faculty brand-new!) work. There are already a lot of resources so we’ll also be using occasional posts here as well as the Math listserv to highlight specific resources we think might be particularly valuable for you in this process; for example, on the resource page we reference a resource site being compiled by the UT Dana Center, and within that we think the webinars folder, especially the “Transitioning Higher Ed Math Classes to Virtual Learning,” is worth reviewing, especially the slide decks  and notes from the series of sessions they have hosted.

Good luck and let me or Laura Schueller (lschueller@sbctc.edu) know if you have questions or need specific resources/guidance that you can’t find!
